ADDITIVE FOR WINTER DIESEL FUEL HELIOS 11DE

USAGE AND STORAGE

Usage:Helios 11DE is a multifunctional additive for winter diesel fuel EN 590. High efficiency of Helios 11DE depends on the proper mixing with diesel fuel. We recommend the mixing of the diesel fuel with additive to start with its pouring into the railway - or auto cistern at the place of discharging.

If the reservoirs are over ground and if to the fuel stored in them will be added Helios 11DE during the winter season, it is necessary that half of the new diesel fuel to be poured in the reservoir before the additive to be added. This measure helps to be assured good mixing conditions.

Helios 11DE prevents the increasing of paraffin crystals and decreases considerably the border temperature of filtration of diesel fuel. This effect is real only whenHelios 11DE is added before the formation of crystals and turbidity of the fuel

The recommended ratio Helios 11DE to the diesel fuel is 1:1000

It has been carried out studies with diesel fuels with different exit border temperature of filtration. During the experiment the fuel is treated with different quantities Helios 11DE. For each concentration is measured the border temperature of filtration. Summary results are presented in the following table

From the data in the table can be seen that with the addition of Helios 11DE to the diesel fuel the border temperatures of filtration are changed. With the increase of the additive concentration, the values the measured index decrease. Helios 11DE improves the low temperature properties of diesel fuel and assures its exploitation during the winter months without problems.

Storage conditions:Helios 11DE should be stored in tightly closed original packing according fire precaution regulations, at dry and well ventilated place.

The product should not be stored when the temperature is below zero.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Helios 11 DE is a multifunctional additive for winter fuel EN 590. With its formula Helios 11DE takes part in a crystallizing process of paraffin breaking their structuring. In this way it is hampered the increasing of crystals which decrease the mobility of the fuel. As a result the border temperatures of filtration of diesel fuel are considerably reduced and at low temperatures of the environment is assured its exploitation without problems.

An advantage of Helios 11DE is the imparting of lubricating properties to the fuel. It reduces the wearing of the diesel pump and sprayers and guarantees their normal work.

Helios 11DE contains burning improver and detergent. As a result the quantity of harmful emissions in the exhaust is reduced as well as fuming. The accumulated depositions on the walls of the combustion chamber, exhaust valves and nozzles are removed and the formation of new ones is prevented.

Helios 11DE doesn’t allow the formation of stable emulsions between fuel and water and decreases its foaming.

SCHEME OF MIXING : We recommend the mixing of the diesel fuel with additive to start with its pouring into the railway - or auto cistern at the place of discharging at the ratio indicated by us:

1liter HELIOS 11DE to 1 000 liters diesel fuel
